With coastal venue Pavilion 2 at Broken Head setting the scene, today’s styled shoot of modern tropical wedding ideas has all the ease of the seaside with touches that are very much of the now. With a sunrise beach session, followed by an indoor tropical-inspired ceremony and reception – the photos are the beautiful inspiration for couples who are dreaming of a modern wedding by the sea.

With a dream team of photographer Soda Photography collaborating with stylist The Main Event Weddings, gown designer Jennifer Gifford, tailor Wil Valor, floral designer Angie’s Floral Design, cake designer A Little Cake Place, stationer  Invitation Designs By Eliza and makeup artist Jayne Perrior.

The team kicked off at a local beach (right by Pavilion 2 at Broken Head) making the most of its intimate setting to inspire beach ceremonies (and with the stunning golden light at that hour, would you want to be anywhere else?)

The indoor ceremony took on a more dramatic style for our beach-loving couple. Our bride lets her hair down and paired her look with deeper toned lips, which juxtaposed beautifully with the dramatic green bouquet, stunning gown and modern grey suit.

The space surrounded a tropical greenery ceremony arch and imposing long table with dramatic tall greenery arrangements, Texture was carefully used – with linen, ropes and raw wood bringing to life the natural elements of the seaside.
