With the sparkling city of Sydney as their backdrop, the photographs to celebrate the engagement of Nghi & Henry are nothing less than magic.

Working with photographer Amelia Soegijono Photography, stylist Sandra Chau Design, floral designer Trille Floral and makeup artist Kaori Harigae from Zena Hair & Makeup, they created a stunning shoot that showed off the icons of Sydney; from the majestic Opera House, the urban cityscape to the romantic coastline. The shoot beautifully reflected the couple’s love of the country where they fell in love.

The happy bride to be tells of how they met, “we met through mutual friends for my surprise birthday party. I just wished for fun out loud that I wanted a boyfriend this year to finish my years of being single and tiil this day he still thinks that I purposely told him that!”

“We love to travel, go to the beach. Or we love to just stay at home for a whole day, walking the dog, going to the gym, following workout classes on Youtube, cooking and relaxing.”

Nghi tells “Henry always sleeps with his fingers spread wide. It’s really cute and I love the way he often tries to make me dance at home just to have fun if either one of us is having a bad day.”

On what she loves about her future husband, Nghi notes “Henry shows me that he really cares for me in small things in my daily life. He flew over to Singapore while I was studying there to help me pack and move when my rental was up. He took care of me when I had a stomach ache after our first Valentine date. It was both sweet and embarrassing!”
