London has long been a popular spot for honeymooners, especially those interested in eating well! There are markets a-plenty featuring gorgeous seasonal produce, baked goods and street food, just about on every doorstep. There are hidden restaurants and beautiful cafes, however, it can be a little overwhelming to choose, especially if jet lagged and a little exhausted from wedding planning! If you’re heading for Notting Hill and looking for some scrumptious recommendations, we have just that! Keep your ears out for where the locals are heading, but pop these on your list of yummy eateries too. You just might find a new favourite!

There is nothing like a good old pub when in England, and there are plenty to choose from! The Champion is an inviting establishment, located right on the edge of Hyde Park. It is relaxed and comfortable, and offers traditional pub fare. Pop along for the pub quiz night, or grab a table for their delicious Sunday roast. The Oak W2 is a beautiful restaurant, offering delicious Italian fare with a modern twist. Upstairs you can while away the hours (or wait for your table) in the beautifully appointed Lounge Bar, sampling cocktails and resting your tired feet. The perfect spot to catch up with UK friends or for a romantic dinner for two! If Italian food gets you excited for dinner, once you’ve sampled the flavours at The Oak W2, head over to Portobello Ristorante Pizzeria. This traditional restaurant serves up tasty traditional pizzas and pastas, so good you’ll remember them years to come!

If you’re looking for an experience rather than a straight up bar, why not pop into The Ginstitute, located on the top two floors of an 19th century public house on London’s world famous Portobello Road. You’ll be able to sample some tasty gins, and will also have the opportunity to create your own individual gin recipe! If your venture into gin making is a success, you’ll be able to reorder your individual recipe to remember the experience. Such a fun idea, and the perfect way to remember your honeymoon!

Finally, you may be looking to spoil yourself whilst in Notting Hill, and why not?! If that is the case, The Ledbury is the place for you. Nominated as one of the world’s best restaurants in 2017, this is fine dining at its best. Led by Chef Brett Graham (an Aussie local!), you will find beautiful seasonal food and will have an experience you will not forget. Given two Michelin Stars and a host of other awards, this is the place to put in your diary.

There are so many incredible places to tantalise your tastebuds with in colourful Notting Hill! Once you’ve seen the tourist sights and visited the Queen, one of these places is sure to hit the right spot.
