Happy Monday Dotties! As usual, where I am, Spring is up and down, but we have managed quite a few days in the Sunshine and have enjoyed every minute!

Each season of the year brings with it particular delights for your wedding. Autumn colour, Winter clouds and cosiness, Summer heat and icecreams, and Spring pastels and new life. Which season will you choose for your wedding?  Check out Ms Polka Dot’s Directory for vendors who are happy to make your dreams a reality no matter which season you choose. If you are looking for a photographer in QLD and beyond, look no further than Capture The Moment Photography. Passionate about photography, Carissa’s images have a soft clear quality to them which is immediately appealing in their apparent simplicity and emotive quality. She describes her photography style as “soulful, organic, natural”  and we’d have to whole heartedly agree!

We asked Carissa of Capture The Moment Photography five questions in five minutes:

What is your favourite after five drink?

Margarita baby (if I’m up for a cheeky night) or a Pina colada for cruisy balmy night!

Your favourite weekend getaway?

Noosa if I had the time! Or just a drive up the local Farnborough Beach! Pitch a marquee, hammock in the tree and we are set!

Favourite restaurant?

Megalomania Bar & Bistro Yeppoon.

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

At home in bed, the hubby usually cooks me pancakes with banana and maple! And if I’m real lucky bacon!

Your favourite wedding story?

Oh dear, the groom’s speeches are usually what get me! This particular wedding was a beautiful blend of cultures! African groom and Aussie bride! From complete opposites of culture, both families came together as one in spirit and dance! The groom was very quiet… could not get much out of him but he made up for it in his speech to his bride! – it was all about his ‘queen’. His soulmate. That he will adore for the rest his life! And then…. The dancing! The women were dressed immaculately! And the men danced with their ladies till the night ended! Oh, and could they ALL dance!!! Was simply amazing to watch and to capture on film!!!!
