Happy Monday Dotties! We are well and truly underway into wedding season and I can say I am  excited to start seeing the gorgeous weddings on my social feeds!

As your wedding day approaches you’ll be ticking off lists, and feeling just a little frazzled. Why not try some yoga, a massage or even meditation (we show how here). Any of these will give you a period of calm in your preparations for your wedding.  We suggest you also take a look at Ms Polka Dot’s Directory for vendors who are keen to help you with your wedding day. We have Wedding Gifts & Registries, we have Entertainment, we have Hair & Beauty and Mobile Bars & Drinks Catering – we even have Catering and Venues! We so many wonderful vendors to choose from you’re sure to find some that you love.

Check out Ms Polka Dot’s Directory for wedding vendors who will love your wedding as much as you!

It’s just so nice to have no expectations of your guests on your wedding day, other than that they enjoy themselves. So rather than ask your Uncle or brother to step up and perform your Master of Ceremonies duties why not consider a professional MC? Jack of Elliot Goblet Entertainment has performed as a stand up comedian all over Australia as well as on television, so brings a wealth of experience in public speaking to his MC role. Covering all standard MC duties as well as entertaining your guests, Jack will take charge and you won’t have to worry about your day running smoothly – and Uncle John can let his hair down!!

We asked Jack of Elliot Goblet Entertainment five questions in five minutes:

What is your reward after a big working day?

Sometimes a relaxing night sitting in my spa and reflecting on the day. Other times a rewarding dinner with a rewarding glass of wine.

Favourite weekend getaway?

Queenscliff because of its old elegant stunning buildings, wonderful restaurants, friendly people and the Blues Train.

What is your most prized possession?

It’s hard to pick one but I do value my purchases from antique markets/shops…especially my old tins collection, 1920’s Gramophone and 1940’s Rocking Horse.

Favourite restaurant?

Riva in St Kilda (VIC). It is near the bay with terrific views from the balcony especially if there is one of those magic orange St Kilda sunsets. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience and serves superb meals.

What do you most enjoy about being in the wedding industry?

Working at some amazing venues large & small all over Australia and being in an environment where everyone is having a good time. I really love chatting with people of all ages at these happy occasions.
