I love a beautifully styled wedding and this week on Behind the Door I’m excited to meet an amazing wedding stylist, Brooke from Sacred Wilde. Sacred Wilde is an event planning, styling and hire service which has just moved from Sydney to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Brooke started the business two years ago and is excited to make the move and bring a little bit of cosmopolitan Sydney vibes to sunny Queensland. “The coastal wedding market is really different to Sydney” says Brooke. “I’m so excited to see how my style evolves and what I can bring to the area”.

Brooke started her career travelling all over the world working on yachts and planning events in exotic locations. “I realised I really enjoyed making things beautiful” say Brooke “and that I had a knack for interior design and styling”. Brooke went on to style her own wedding with an event stylist and the other stylist loved the wedding so much she encouraged Brooke to start her own business!

Sacred Wilde can help a little or a lot with planning and styling for the big day, and Brooke tells me she loves working on a varied mix of weddings. ” Every couple and every wedding is different” says Brooke, “so I’m very happy to customise a quote that perfectly suits the budget and event style”. There’s full wedding and event planning, on the day coordination or simply wedding styling for those looking to transform a blank canvas such as a warehouse or marquee.

For a wedding ceremony Sacred Wilde have three ceremony hire packages perfect for turning a park or field into a dream ceremony space. There’s a selection of signing tables to choose from, ceremony chairs, an arbour to get married under and signage, rugs and vintage props to complete the look. I especially love the freestanding rustic timber doors that look stunning with a floral arrangement cascading over the top.

Brooke tells me she finds inspiration from her travels, the world around her and all things unique and interesting. I love that Sacred Wilde even have an entire hire lookbook for couples that might want to style the day themselves but don’t have time to hunt down those special pieces to add to the day. Maybe an outdoor lounge, Moroccan cushions or vintage games, Brooke is happy to make suggestions and is always adding to the collection. How fantastic to have such an eye for design and transform it into beautiful weddings!
