Summer weddings are something special. They’re the long balmy nights, the sparkling sunshine, the blue skies, the warmth of your skin, delicious cool drinks and bare feet. With all these things in mind, the team behind today’s glam tropical luxe wedding inspiration played up Summer style elements in the beautiful setting of Byron Bay.

With a neutral colour palette of white and wood tones, the team added plenty of texture – tropical, organic greenery, shells, antique gold, bamboo and cut crystal all highlighting the tropical, Summer beauty.

Today’s dream team, coordinated by Byron Bay Weddings used the beautiful Byron View Farm, Byron Bay as their setting, guiding guests to dine at a long table on the wide and breezy verandah.  Styled by  The Wedding Shed and The Grove Styling  the table was set with florals by Wilderness Flowers and modern stationery designed by The Blackline by Lauren.

In an outdoor ceremony with a bamboo tipi as the wedding backdrop, and plenty of easy chairs to lounge our bride and her bridesmaid, Allara Paxton and Dakota Drury dressed in gorgeous gowns from  Spell and the Gypsy Collective with hair and and makeup styled by Billi-Hunter Beauty.

And of course, what’s a Summer wedding without ice cream?  Wheel & Spoon rocking up with a sweet ice cream cart, while  Feast Events styled up a Summer inspired feast.

The team tell of their inspiration “Summer is our favourite time in Byron Bay. It’s when the place really comes alive. It has a buzz like any popular tourist destination. Think long days, balmy nights, warm ocean currents and beautiful sub-tropical temperatures. The streets are saturated with talented live musicians, restaurants are spilling out onto the footpaths, and the town is overflowing with art and weekly food markets. The vibe is electric! While the place may be bustling with people from all over the globe, everyone comes with the same mindset; to chill, relax, and immerse themselves in the vibrant scene.”
