Is there anything better than a picnic at sunset on a mountaintop? it’s a blissful trifecta that’s for sure and today’s dream team brought this very scene to life in a magic shoot of sunset romance wedding inspiration. With Sarah Moore behind the camera at the beautiful Dry Ridge EstatePicnics by Hannah and Blue Mountains Floral Design came up with a concept that was inspired by celebrating love in all of its forms. The floral arbour acted as the showpiece, framing the beautiful view of the Megalong Valley for our brides, who were made over by makeup artist  Utopia and hairstylist Euphoria Hair by Kellie Adler.

Beneath the arbour was set a decadent picnic catered by  Picnics by Hannah filled with charcuterie and fresh fruit for our brides to graze on as they contemplate their commitment over the setting sun. The beautiful colour palette of marsala, gold, green adding a jewel tone beauty to the setting, complementing the golden sunset. A glass of cold wine, the most appropriate finishing touch.

Photographer Sarah telling “This cute, playful shoot was inspired by the current political debate about same-sex marriage. The intention was to showcase that love IS love and celebrate this in its many shapes and forms. The lush colourful styling of this picnic was to compliment the amazing pinks, oranges and reds of the beautiful sunsets that the Blue Mountains have to offer. We were all inspired by the unique Megalong Valley landscape and played to our strengths, which was reflected in producing these images to look carefree and a true depiction of decadent romance.”
