It has been no secret that bright, tropical wedding inspiration is right on trend for 2018 and today’s editorial of colourful and modern tropical wedding ideas plays every note!
From the bold balloon garland styled by Palm & Pine Party Co to the of-the-moment acrylic signage and details by HTM Creative, from the neon pink letter lights from Eventhaus to the flamingo-topped wedding cake by Mae Petite Cake Designs, every detail came together to make this shoot one heck of a lot of fun.
Choosing the industrial-style venue of Hunter Design School, the team was led by Wolf and Wildflower Photography and stylist Henry & Audrey. Photographer Rebecca explains of their inspiration, “As part of the photography duo team for Wolf and Wildflower Photography, we’ve been able to work with some very talented local vendors and see what the current trends are in the wedding industry. So I for one really wanted to choose a theme that was quite different to everything else currently on trend. I wanted it to stand out from the rest, and be quite unique. The actual inspiration for this theme actually comes from my daughter’s 1st Birthday Party, which was themed ‘Let’s Flamingle’. I thought that these bright pops of pink, tropical elements and colour would look amazing in a wedding shoot, and it was something that I’d yet seen in a wedding before.”
Joining the collaboration, Blooms On Darby designed bright floral details, including a vivid bouquet tied with beautiful blue ribbon and a blonde timber table adorned with colourful floral details paired with neutral and metallic accents.
Real life couple Amika and Joe Finn were the stars of the show. The bride was dressed by Lilly Bridal taking on a look of relaxed elegance, her makeup by JM Makeup and loose wavy hair by Alicia’s Personal Hair Design.
Our photographers add, “Overall we all wanted to create a shoot that was fun, exciting and the total opposite of everything on the wedding scene at the moment, and I feel like we were able to capture that vision.”
