Blush pink, cherries, wild trailing stems of florals and plenty of candlelight sound like the most beautiful way to revel in a winter wedding and it is exactly this charm that today’s organic & modern wedding editorial draws its inspiration.

Led by floral designer Laura of Gilded Florals, the team headed to the beautiful historic venue of Guildhall to create a wedding look that was organic, unstructured and inspired by the warmth of winter, She tells “The shoot was inspired by the winter season. The venue had a dark and warm atmosphere and we softened it with rambling foliages, lots of textures – the florals to have a slightly wild and unstructured feel style of the shoot”.

Carla Atley was behind the camera for today’s gorgeous images, with Willow Lane Creative on styling, with a beautiful cake by  The Cake & I, a stunning stationery suite by Lines and Squares and Sideserve adding their talents for the beautiful look to come together.

The dark wood, setting the scene for blush flowers and plenty of candlelight for our ceremony scene, while a long wooden table was topped with a delicate fabric table runner, gold candlesticks in modern shapes, pillar candles and plenty of flowers to contrast against the modern traditionally styled wooden furniture.

Model Imogen Dearlove, our bride, wore a beautiful lace gown with bell sleeves created by Madeleine Ruth with romantic hair and makeup styled by The Blushing Bride Perth for a look that is all about romantic tones and textures.

Laura adds “As a florist I always take my inspiration from the changing seasons each year and the colours of the foliages and flowers. Adding lots of texture and rambling overgrown vines reminded me of abandoned gardens and the feathery astilbe and sheer translucent fabrics add a touch of romance and soften the venue with its dark wooden floors and fittings. Candlelight warms the dimly lit rooms and gold.”
