How could we think of any better way to end the day than with a beautiful editorial filled with modern, bold touches in beautiful New Zealand? The industrial setting, complete with amazing water views set the scene for a shoot a photo filled with glittering gold, and lightly, blush and ethereal twisted willow.

Today’s dream team, led by Wild&Whim with  Sweet Events Photography behind the camera, stylist The White Wedding Club and starring Billy Stairmand and Liana Stairmand as our newlyweds, worked at the converted Golden Bay concrete silos in New Zealand’s Raglan. The industrial setting of the converted Manhattan style apartments lending the shoot a modern, industrial edge.

Our eloping couple, wed against a cement wall surrounded with an arch styled by floral designer Raglan Buds Flower Farm. The deep mauve, lilac and blush blooms interspersed with magnolia branches, loquat foliage, and sprayed willow to complement a stunning sheath bouquet carried by the bride, herself shining in a gold glittering gown by Boho Bridal Design.

Liana’s look, which started with lingerie by Raven + Rose was brought o life with modern makeup by  Laura Adlam Beauty, and adorned with jewels by Serendipity Ave  with shoes from Chaos and Harmony. Groom Billy dressed in a simple and smart charcoal suit from French83. The duo taking on a decidedly more evening style as the day progressed- complemented with a touch of gold leaf.

The golden sunlight and water views paved the way for a beautiful tablescape, styled by The White Wedding Club topped with treats by  Sage and Grace, earthy toned linens from Tble. Linen and gold and blush stationery by Paper Darling complimenting handcrafted Tony Sly Pottery pieces.

Photographer Emma tells of the team’s inspiration. “This shoot gives the contemporary bride that glamour meets industrialized modern feel. The converted Golden Bay concrete silos were originally used to take cement off ships from Nelson for distribution throughout the Waikato but are now five industrial Manhattan style apartments. We used colours that complimented the gold bridal dress, were a combination of deep mauve, lilac, cream and blush tones.”
