The thing about Canadian brand Truvelle is that it stays true to it’s romantic, modern look but in a way that leaves us, as the longtime fan of the five-year-old brand, always wanting more.

Truvelle has never been about the coolest or the most on-trend, it’s been a discovery of working with their clients, of figuring out exactly what they want to wear and creating gowns for them, not for what the world says they need.
And it’s this, that has brought the brand to celebrate their fifth birthday, founder Gaby Bayona releasing eight new designs that carry through the much loved Truvelle ethos and signature silhouettes.

It’s the first time the team have ditched floaty chiffon from their collection, instead, turning to beautiful crepe, beaded lace, fluffy tulle skirts and fun tassel details.

“Bea”, one of my favourites is a beautiful, simple crepe gown, with a divine lace trim that adds a stunning layer of femininity, while another of my top picks “Kyra” features the most unusual, yet beautiful silver beaded detail, mixing art deco with modern styling in an effortless, beautiful way.

Truvelle is available from their website or in Australia through stockists Love, Marie, Through The White Door & Moonstruck Bride.
