If there is one collection we think encapsulates all the feel-good vibes of The Summer Issue, then the brand new “Quaintrelle” by Laudae has to be it! Against soft white sand and the bright tones of Cape Town, the brand new collection came to life.
The relaxed feeling that long Summer days evoke seems appropriate for this collection- the team drew their inspiration from ready to wear street pieces, using the relaxed, feminine details from the street pieces to introduced fresh, new details to their gowns. Think necklines that are fun, fits that are flexible and comfortable and silhouettes that are sleek and modern. It’s well on brand for Laudae who is all about forward thinking – right down to their manufacturing process which is done as ethically as possible.
And to keep with their mission for brand transparency? The entire campaign was shot on an iPhone – the candid, honest depiction of the gowns suiting exactly what the brand aims to deliver every step of the way.
