If I could spend my days surrounded by as many beautiful flowers as in today’s utterly romantic editorial, I would live happily.

This dream team set the scene at beautiful, Southern Highlands farm Merribee; a soft and dreamy colour palette coming to life in an inspirational shoot that is a modern take on a romantic wedding.

Led by Samuel White Photographer with styling wizards The Wedding and Event Creators, our team made the most of the golden autumnal skies (colour coordinating of course!). Floral designer Gypsy Carmen created cream, blush and copper arrangements that elegantly contrasted with the natural colour palette and country charm.

Our newlyweds married under a geometric arch softened with light-as-the-breeze fabric and white florals. The bride, in a beautiful gown by Storybook Bridal was styled with loose, chocolate waves by Absolute Hair by Tia and fresh faced makeup by Tayla Jane Makeup.

They continued their celebrations in a beautiful outdoor lounge area, with grand peacock chairs and celebratory tipple from caravan cocktail bar Rambling Rose Bar.

And as the sun set, the white farmhouse set the scene for an utterly romantic reception of white farmhouse tables laid with peach, white and blush blooms, linen napkins, tall taper candles and modern, copper place cards.

And of course, because a shoot like this is never complete without treats, a stunning feast for not only the eyes was included: a white-on-white tiered cake designed by Rose and Co. This masterpiece sat grandly on its own vintage table adorned with candlelight and old window panes.

Stylist Vanessa tells of the team’s inspiration, “Working with the South Coast’s best vendors, our shoot was themed around complimenting the already beautiful gardens of the gorgeous Merribee. Soft and romantic was our theme, from the ceremony with a modern spin showcasing a unique heptagon arbour, through to a picnic for two held among the rows of lavender garden.”
