With experience and quality being their focus, Lily Road is a band that delivers great sound in spades. As each singer is a top finalist in Australian Idol, X Factor or The Voice, so this band delivers old and new favourites with style! Based in Sydney and Melbourne, Lily Road perform regularly throughout Australia and internationally, playing a mix of tunes from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s which is sure to add fizz and fun to your wedding day. Get up and boogie with Lily Road; you’ll have the best time and your wedding day will be remembered for those great dance moves pulled out by your uncle and even your grandmother!
We asked Greg of Lily Road five questions in five minutes:
What is your reward after a big working day?
I am currently obsessed with Orpan Black on Netflix! Top that off with wine and cheese or a bowl of ice cream 😉
Favourite weekend getaway?
Every weekend is usually filled with weddings up north or down south of Sydney. The Southern Highlands has some beautiful locations. That is my getaway!
What is your most prized possession?
I use a Fender Telecaster 52 reissue for every gig I play. It has so much soul and sounds mint. It’s my little baby!
A little gem found down on Dee Why Beach called Seachange Cafe is possibly the best restaurant I’ve ever been to for quality and consistency with breakkie and lunch. I have been eating there for as long as I can remember.
Also recently I had some time out and visited Mykonos where I found an Indian Restaurant down on Paradise Beach. It was top notch and worth a visit!
What do you most enjoy about being in the wedding industry?
The excitement on the faces of the bride and groom when they are cutting up the dance floor! We feel like we are just making their special day that extra special when everything aligns perfectly for them.
