Talia & Peter

Country vibes are some of our very favourites. There is nothing like the crisp country air and rolling hills to set the scene for something a little special. For Talia and Peter, the day was true to who they were. Their rock and roll loving personalities allowing them to don a dapper black and white suit, a leather jacket and take to the dance floor to INXS. And it’s this difference, this that is “them” that always makes us love to tell your tales.

Alex Stevens captured every moment, for the pair who met on a few fun nights out, becoming inseperable before Peter popped the question on a romantic trip to Byron Bay.

The groom dressed in black and white pieces “The perfect statement piece for Peter’s personality” notes Talia.

Talia was lucky enough that her mother made her wedding gown! She explains “My dress was based on a well-loved, classic style made by my mum who specialises in couture, perfect for this occasion. As soon as I tried it on, I knew she knew it was perfect.”

“We chose the Farm Yarra Valley for our wedding” tells Talia. “It had the perfect relaxed vibe we wanted, the atmosphere was great, and rain, hail or shine we knew it would be perfect.”

Forget-Me-Not-Floret styled simple and beautiful floral details for the day, the bride sharing “The flowers consisted of a lot of greenery and white flowers, with my bouquet picking up some of the burgundy feature colour.”

The bride walked down the aisle, on the arm of her father, to the Foo Fighter’s “Everlong”.

The couple wanted a relaxed ceremony, choosing Chris Johnson to make it official. “Our ceremony remained very simple, and was just what we were after, our music choices reflected our relationship and our celebrant made sure the moment was perfect.”

The newlyweds enjoyed the sunshine as they had their photos taken, noting of their photographer “Alex was so friendly and fun to have alongside for the day, she stayed stealth while ensuring to catch the event perfectly. Her communication was great, and nothing was too much trouble.”

The newlyweds took to the dance floor to INXS’ “Never Tear Us Apart”. Talia remembering “The song is a classic love song true to our music taste and love story.”

A big congratulations to you both Talia and Peter! Thank you for allowing us to share the stories of your day! Thank you also to Alex Stevens for sharing today’s celebration!
