There are few places in Australia as utterly dreamy as a French chateau than the beautiful Deux Belettes. And this stunning venue was the most picture-perfect venue to set the scene for a group of talented creatives to weave their magic for an editorial inspired by French romance.

Shot entirely on medium format film by the talented Casey Jane Photography, the team were drawn into a world of dreamy, feminine whimsy. “The inspiration behind this styled shoot was French Romance with a focus on soft, classical elegance and refined details” Casey explains. “Soft pretty light, gorgeous delicate fabrics fluttering in the breeze, flowing hair with that golden era glow, rambling dreamy flowers in vast abundance, new wonders to discover around every corner… in a French countryside feast for the senses. The creative intention was a fairytale, romantic dreamscape that quite literally comes to life.”

With Eleven 8 Create creating the styling – the tables, the bouquets, and the decor were filled with lush, romantic floral arrangements by Wedding Flowers by Julia Rose. A soft colour palette evolving of sweet peach, soft blush pink, and romantic blue. The colours weaving their way through the florals on tablescapes topped with elegant neutral pieces.

Our brides – models Maddison Baker, Jasmin Gee and Laura Blandd wore Homebodii robes, before being made over by Ulyana Aster and makeup artist Shannon Hope Make Up Artist, the three brides donning bespoke gowns by Ulyana Aster that spoke of dreamy luxury and feminine whimsy.

And then there were the cakes and treats – utter masterpieces by the talented Marina Machado Cakes echoing the delicate detail of the gowns and finished with plant dyed silk ribbons by Heirloom Bride, which of course, also finished the beautiful bouquets. The finishing touch was a beautiful stationery suite, of deep, moody blue, with custom calligraphy and illustration designed by Wedding Flowers by Julia Rose.

Oh and scroll on down, because we’ve even got the behind the scenes video that Alexei Malko Films captured.
