There is something honest about the colours of Autumn, the moody oranges, the deep browns, the glitter of candlelight and today’s editorial, in the bare bones of an industrial warehouse space, captured every bit of this raw sense of style.

With Jenny Wu Photography it was the wizardry of stylists (and floral designers to boot) Pia & Jade who brought the vision to life. The team explaining on the details “We used seasonal roses in toffee, grey and nude, phalaenopsis and cymbidium orchids, carnations, disbud chrysanthemums, poppies, pieris and a mix of dried and fresh foliage for a textural experience. For the styling, there were terracotta pots and rose gold candle holders and trinkets to tie in with the colour scheme, whilst botanically dyed silks worked to soften the entire look.”

With The Fitters Workshop as their backdrop, models Lukas Mansillas Savić, Meg Dawson and Alexandra Rubio played the very best kind of dress up. Our brides made over with modern, yet feminine styling from makeup artist Jessica Peris and Kate Lily Dressing Hair.

Under the watchful eye of stylist Sofia Polak, they donned utterly dapper and romantic (respectively!) pieces from Morganson’s Finery, Jennifer Gifford and Anna Campbell. The gowns if not in hints of colour, then covered in sparkle – the most beautiful contrast to the industrial space.

And then the decor, a wood and terracotta focused ceremony backdrop filled with textural, autumn-hued blooms and candlelight. A tablescape of Heartwood Hire furniture mixing and matching the very same hues with plenty of mixed media terracotta and glazed vessels, alongside botanically dyed silks by The Paper Botanist.
And that contrast of blooms and raw cement, gowns of dreamy tulle and glass windows, terracotta and candlelight. It’s all the beauty of Autumn, the beauty we’ve come to adore. It’s a plethora of inspiration ripe for reinterpreting for your own celebration, your own honest day.
