Minimal and modern is one of the most beautiful wedding styles, and today’s dream teams have married these concepts, along with beautiful, fine art romantic styling to produce an editorial that is filled with carefully considered details and utter elegance.

There’s beautiful, breathtaking imagery by Stefanie Buma, beautiful flowers in tones of white, green and greys with plenty of texture by A Little Bohemia. And it’s all set at the beautifully restored historic venue of Moana Hall.

The Original Event Company adding a modern, minimal look to the space with clear ghost chairs, rectangular plinths and gorgeous clear candelabras, the pieces letting the space do all the talking.

Model Aniqua Toquero the star of the show with beautiful glowing hair and makeup styled by Connor Adams. Dressed in beautiful gowns from  Wedding Societe and Bridal By Aubrey Rose and hairpieces by Bridal By Aubrey RoseDreamtime Designs which played with the light, showing their transparent beauty, their sparkle and glitter and giving this editorial its own sense of peaceful beauty.

Oh and of course, to celebrate The Invitation Issue, we need to pay homage to the beautiful stationery designed by Small Brown Writes. Designer Kenaina creating an invitation suite of handmade paper, inspired by the cracks and peeling paint of the venue’s historic walls. “My approach to designing a set of stationery is always to complement the look and feel of a couple’s wedding day.” she shares “As a stationer, I am most inspired by old-world romanticism and rough textures. With the location being Moana Hall, a beautiful heritage venue with it’s original early 1900’s interior still intact, it was the perfect opportunity to showcase elegance and texture on paper.”

The complementing straight edged card stock reflective of the modern lines the team used throughout their choice of furniture pieces. Finishing touches of calligraphy, to create a sense of intimacy, hand painted foliage motifs and vintage stamps all adding to the piece’s character and tying the look together.
