It’s a riot of colour as P Johnson Tailors release their brand new collection, entitled, by the star of the shoot himself Louis Solywoda as “Banana Pancakes”. The collection, which seamlessly blends the winter season to the freshness of Spring, was filled with soft minty greens, deep emeralds, mid blues and deep indigos. The unexpected colour sitting alongside this seasons more relaxed, effortless fits from the luxurious name in men’s tailoring.

Designer Patrick shares “the best-dressed people get dressed in a very natural way, where it doesn’t look forced. They get dressed for themselves rather than playing dress-ups.” And that effortless style is shown in each look, especially when it comes to the beautiful fabric choices. The brand worked with the most beautiful fabrics for this collection, the best Italian spun silk, Japan woven lyocell, Irish linens, Mongolian cashmere, baby Bactrian camel hair and of course our favourite – Australian merino wool.

“Banana Pancakes” brings in a range of more casual options too. Utility jackets, soft suede overcoats, shorts and made to measure denim, but it is, of course, the suiting that we’re most drawn to. The brand offers up three levels of suiting, from being completely handmade for you in Italy, to a half-canvassed service from their local showrooms.

The forest greens, the mints, the sapphire and pale sky blue, the blue velvets, the textured black and midnight blue blazer and the retro-styled classic tux. They’re all on our list for the groom who wants something a little different, but utterly up there in style, as he walks down the aisle.

The brand new collection is available via the P Johnson Tailors showrooms.
