We asked Coral from Corston Couture five questions in five minutes:

What is the most important piece of advice you can give to engaged couples?

You may think the wedding is all about you and your fiancé, however, in a lot of families, there are deep expectations on all sides.

Maybe it is that a church wedding is non-negotiable, maybe wearing a veil is non-negotiable, maybe having all your sisters as bridesmaids is expected, maybe having great uncle bill and cousin Mary who you have never met invited to the wedding etc.

Ideally, be very clear what kind of wedding you, as a couple would both like, what are your non negotiables, but be ready to be flexible with other family members expectations and pick your battles, let go of the things that are not too important to the 2 of you and maintain things that are really important to the 2 of you.

Tell us about a hidden talent you have?

I play the piano, often to de-stress and/or relax.

As a vendor, what excites you about the wedding day?

Am just going to go with the first look of a Bride as she starts the walk down that aisle, The “Reveal Moment”.

What are you known for?

A few things, but being calm in a firestorm of craziness is one of them…very useful when dealing with some clients.

If you could choose a song to play for the rest of your life what would it be?

I have had a remarkable life, lots of amazingness, and some devastating experiences…. but all and all my favourite song would have to be “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor.
