Ada & Elroy

I’m getting seriously romantic vibes over the sunset Newcastle engagement session of today’s loves Ada and Elroy. The duo, who met when Elroy moved into Ada’s house as a housemate, commissioned the legendary Joel of Ava Me Photography to join them one sunset in beautiful Newcastle.
I’m not sure if it’s the greenery of the parkland, the steely blue of the sea or Ada’s gorgeous polka dot dress (which I want for myself) that I’m loving the most, but I think you’ll agree this is a story worth sharing!

Elroy proposed in a simple but meaningful way, Ada remembering “Elroy organized a hike to my favourite spot and asked me at the summit”

Funny memories make a foundation for any good relationship. Ada and Elroy certainly have their fair share, sharing one of their favourites. “I am a frequent traveller for work,” explains Ada “but somehow I did not know that I needed a visa to enter Australia from the US. Elroy waited for me at the Sydney airport with a diploma that gave me the status of “rookie traveller” and a notice that Delta had downgraded my frequent flyer status as a result.”

“The colours in the area around Bogey Hole was just perfect for the outfits we had already brought with us from the US” remarks Ada.

On what she loves about her future husband, this bride to be shared “Elroy is my opposite in all the right ways. He is more thoughtful when I want to make a quick decision, he makes risk-based calculations when I want to just jump into something, but we both love to cook together, travel together and raise our puppies together.”
