We believe inspiration can be found almost everywhere and during The Feast Issue, we wanted to make sure we could to inspire you. So today? We’ve got something a little different, it’s packed with ideas, it’s packed with mouth-watering food – but it isn’t a wedding! In fact, it’s a corporate celebration!
Never ones to let that get in the way of something inspiring, we wanted to share today’s party, captured beautifully by Kate Robinson, a Hawaiian inspired celebration that we’re pretty sure we could easily imagine as an engagement party, a pre-wedding celebration or to be honest, even a poolside wedding!
Danielle of White + White, who was the brains behind it all, sharing “It was such a treat pulling together this Hawaiian themed corporate Christmas party. Guests enjoyed a sunny summer afternoon by the pool with tiki bars, food stations, gelato carts accompanied by the sweet sounds of ukelele tunes.”
The historic Milton House welcomed guests to a poolside tropical party to the sounds of the ukelele, performed live by Hamilton Band. Wine & Dine’m Catering serving up icy cold Aperol Spritz cocktails from a tiki bar, before guests enjoyed poke bowls, tacos and an abundance of fresh tropical fruit flavours.
And every poolside celebration requires dessert, delicious dragonfruit mango and salted caramel Nutella gelato served fresh from mobile icecream cart Wheel & Spoon.
Let’s talk decor, Hampton Event Hire worked magic with their bamboo furniture, evoking plenty of tropical vibes while balloons of pastel brights from Twisted Mr floated in the pool. The finishing touch to turn this courtyard into a tropical paradise were beautiful plants from Bouquet Boutique letting the bright tropical colours of the food and drink do all the talking. Signage from The Perfect Party Co, the fun finishing touch.
As summer arrives, and outdoor celebrations are aplenty, why not add a little tropical luxe into your own?
