Give us a space full of fresh blooms and candlelight by the sea, and we’re rather hooked. So when today’s old meets new editorial with soft tones of sea-green & grey landed we were well and truly swept away in our seaside fantasies.

The brainchild of floral designer, Georgia of Olive & Ivy, the team of talented Perth creatives were inspired by a modern take on the classic combination of green and white. Georgia, sharing “We predict that 2020 will see a return to the classic white and greens so we based our colour scheme around sea glass green, accents of grey with blanc en blanc florals.”

Combining those soft sea greens with glittering gold and classic white created a modern, coastal vibe that is not just beautiful to look at, but packed with ideas to steal for yourself.

Beginning with a space with plenty of character, Kidogo Arthouse, the team create a breathtaking ceremony backdrop, with a floating floral installation. The flowers flanked by modern gold candle towers from The Original Event Company creating space for intimate vows to unfold by candlelight. A long rectangular reception table, ready for celebration topped with bleached florals, sea green crockery alongside simple flatware and napery.

Delicate details – beautiful calligraphed stationery designed by The Little Press and a simple wedding cake, with gold and blue painted detail, reminiscent of ocean waves by Cakes by Dark Cherry rounding out the look which contrasted old and new, classic and chic beautifully.

Our bride played by Alannah Joy Reberger, a free spirit, was dressed in two stunning gowns by the boho queens, Grace Loves Lace, a complementing, wispy white bouquet delicate against her moody makeup and romantic up-do by Cat Elizabeth Artistry. Pearl jewels by Soklich & Co honouring that nod to all things classic bride.

Our groom Jason Cantle, accompanied Alannah, dressed in a handsome grey suit Tarocash, in keeping with the soft coastal-inspired hues,

And to bring it all to life? The talented Amy Skinner joined the crew, capturing the stills, while Venture Forth Film Co captured the magic of motion. The romantically moody captures, and the combination of the historic indoor space next to the wild and rugged coastline making this styled shoot a beautiful encapsulation of stunning seaside beauty.
