Not going to lie, I think there is something utterly stunning about the work of Italian designers. Something a little couture, a little avante garde, a little considered. So, we’re more than a little excited to share the brand new Fall 2020 collection from Milan based designer Peter Langner.

Beginning his career in bridal in 1989, Peter soon founded his very first atelier in Rine before following the fashion movement to Milan. With 31 years of designing beautiful wedding gowns under his belt, it makes sense that his gowns are not only sought after but completely breathtaking.

Filled with stunning laces, beautiful hand embroidery of Swarovski crystals and beads, alongside layers upon layer of dreamy tulle, the 2020 fall collection is inspired by the beauty of nature’s garden. floral appliques and floral around laces featuring heavily throughout the pieces. Alongside the classic bridal white, Peter’s team have brought in soft rosy pinks that are utterly romantic, and ethereal, sparkling golds and champagnes. This is a collection that marries the beauty of classic silhouettes with design-driven detailing. Think asymmetrical necklines, sweeping trains, cape-style sleeves, oversize bows and delicate, illusion style sleeves.

“June” is all about the bold asymmetrical neckline with shoulder bow doing all the talking, while “Nuvola” is a show stopper with her cape style, embellished sleeves set to complete the minimal gown design it pairs with. My favourite though? It might have to be “Doha” in dreamy champagne, is enhanced with sparkling gold crystals and beading. A billowing skirt and v neckline topper with sheer, almost a whisper fabric for a little ethereal touch, What a dream for your walk down the aisle!

You can find the gowns of Peter Langner at Sydney bridal gallery Helen Rodrigues.
