Brenda & Ethan

I don’t know about you, but I need all the love stories I can get right now and today’s is a double whammy. A love story and a proposal both in one – it’s as utterly feel good as it sounds and we’re delighted to bring it to you thanks to Juwan and Sariah.

Although these two are from Australia and New Zealand it wasn’t until they happened to be in the UK at the same time that their paths crossed. They fill us in “Ethan is from NZ and Brenda from Australia but funnily enough, met in the UK. We were both living there as volunteer missionaries for our church. We were good friends for a while but nothing romantic had ever happened nor had either of us imagined it ever would. However, once we both had returned home, we quickly started, got in touch and started talking. We went from messaging online to daily phone calls to video calls. Ethan planned a short trip to Sydney which was the official start to our relationship. Five months later Ethan was living in Sydney to be with me!! After a year together, Ethan proposed!”

On his wife to be, Ethan shares “I love Brenda’s sense of humour and the amazing banter we have together. I’m truly blessed to be marrying such a phenomenal lady that treats everyone kindly and is always working hard to do what’s right. The way her eyes shine and the way she laughs when I crack a joke is just the best.”

“Ethan is the most gentle and kind person you will ever meet!” tells Brenda. “And he’s that way with everyone. He is always thinking about other people and it was one of the first things I really admired about him. He’s so romantic and always remembers all the little things that mean the most. I love that we laugh at the same things and our minds are on the same wavelengths.”

The backdrops for this engagement session? Stunning! “This was a place we went when to when I first visited Brenda in Australia and we had always wanted to go back” tell the couple. “When we got engaged and had our shoot with Juwan & Sariah, we later went to a lighthouse nearby which I picked as a surprise spot because neither of us had ever been there. The lighthouse was such a beautiful location that I thought it would add a magical touch to the night. Brenda loved it.”
