The new “Marrakech” collection from designers Madi Lane is an utter delight. Set it the stunning city of Morocco’s Marrakech, the Australian designer embraced all the beauty, the texture, the life and colour of this beautiful region to inspire their Fall 2020 collection.

Make no mistake, this design house knows what they’re doing, head designer Liz Young has a background of over twenty years in the bridal industry. Leading her all-women team, Liz dreams of creating a collection of gowns that “inspire, empower and bring vibrancy to the wedding days of modern brides”.

And I think you’ll agree- that they did! “Marrakech” featuring stunning, timeless silhouettes completely reimagined. Think beautiful hues of mocha, champagne and nude alongside beautiful modern laces, intricate beading and beautiful fabrications all bringing these sense of classic styling and marrying it with all the current trends it needs to stand strong down the aisle today.

There are strapless gowns, like “Adalyn” (pictured above) with her layers of glowing tulle & corset-style bodice dipping ever so slightly at the back for a modern twist. “Arwen” with a so on-trend off the shoulder lace detail, asymmetrical “Arlo” with a sliced bodice and brilliant bow and “Adrian” with a fabric of petite leaves, that adds a sense of playful femininity to the otherwise traditional shape.

There’s plenty for customization available on these beauties too- detachable trains, sheer jackets that transform the look completely. to tulle overskirts & dreamy capes. It’s just part of what the Madi Lane team prides itself on,  a little drama, a little modern flavour and your own personalised style.

“Marrakech” is available now from Madi Lane I and his worldwide retailers from June to August 2020.
