When we came across the beautiful vintage wedding gowns from Arcade Vintage Bridal, we knew they completely fit The Vintage Issue bill.

Arcade Vintage is a one-stop-shop for stunning vintage wedding gowns. The team works hard to source unique pieces, of beautiful quality, to give each and every wearer their own special, one-off experience. Sourced as complete collections, the first, as owner Natalia puts it, is inspired by the rich Hollywood glamour of the 1930s and 1940s. There are tiered ruffly skirts, beautiful strapless necklines, form-fitting red-carpet and aisle worthy pieces and plenty of timeless silhouettes with detail layered upon detail. My favourite? The vintage Edwardian wrap lace blouse from the 1900s, a piece that is filled with history, yet so beautiful to wear today.

To bring the vintage gowns to life, our team, with photographer Maple and June behind the camera, took to the unique setting of Paddington Reservoir Gardens where model Leila Mathieson (styled with hair and makeup by Nicola Johnson) donned the vintage pieces, as she wandered amongst the stunning floral installations, in rich primary tones by the ever-talented Chanele Rose Flowers & Styling.

The Arcade Vintage Bridal can be purchased online from the comfort of your couch!
