Autumnal weddings will never ever stop making my heart beat a little faster. Epic golden sunsets, reflected in floral hues, beautiful muted tones and fiery energy, That is early what today’s dream team brought to this beautiful autumnal editorial at the ever stunning Spicers Peak Lodge.

Captured by Terri Hanlon Photography and Mcleish Film & Media (scroll on for the film!) stylist Emunah Events made the most of her season for this one, sharing “The inspiration for this shoot started with a palate of warm autumnal tones and wanting to capture the essence of the intimacy and cosy feeling of the cooler change in weather but wanting to show a more modern and elevated take on this.”

The look centred around an outdoor tablescape using pieces from Prop It Pretty, taupe and teal linens topped with a modern stationery suite designed by Laura Elizabeth Design and plenty of candlelight using candles and glass sleeves from Southern Lights Candle Co. Autumnal toned blooms, also by Emunah Events were kept to a grand installation overhead, the piece doing all the talking.

And there’s was not just one, but three magnificent cakes for this shoot, all styled by The Sweet Society Co in soft dusky rose and pale pinks.

Our models, Lizzy Edwards (who donned a Little White Couture robe as she dressed) and JP Huillet wore pieces from Ulyana Aster and Black Jacket Suiting. JP in a classic three-piece suit with a burnt orange tie, while Lizzy’s gown delicate with its transparent layers and applique for an utterly romantic vibe.  Lizzy’s hair swept into a glam up-do by Ulyana Aster paired with her soft & glowing makeup by Makeup By Miranda.

Carissa adding “We had a vision of a luxuriously sensuous wedding followed by golden sunsets and nights with a wine in hand wrapped in a luxurious blanket cosying up by the fire with those nearest and dearest. It was a truly warm and romantic shoot. We didn’t want the love story to end.”
