Happy Monday Dotties! Whether you are spending another week at home planning or starting to go out into the world, we’re back for another week of wedding planning!

Tough times can bring out the best in people. People helping others, charities, neighbours and strangers in any way they can, people showing compassion to others, and with the wearing of masks recently in Victoria – showing a care for others around them. Do you have a support ‘team’ you can call on in times of stress? We hope that you do and that this pandemic is bringing out the best in the people who are your tribe. Take some time to flick through the Polka Dot Directory to choose vendors who would love to help you with your wedding.

Our Polka Dot Directory has vendors such as Wedding Planners, we have Bridal Gowns, we have Flowers and Entertainment – we even have Accessories and Venues.

Check out the Polka Dot Directory for wedding vendors who will love your wedding as much as you!

On the day before the wedding it is a treat to hand your special people their own robe to commemorate this very special occasion. Bride Tribe stocks the most gorgeous satin robes with lace or floral patterns – and for the bride, our favourite for the complete bridal feel is the Harlow. Personalise them if you wish with embroidered names, and give your flowergirl a robe of her own complete with lace embellishments. Then there are foldable ballet flats, socks, denim jackets, and groom and his mates are not left out with boxer shorts, socks and cards. And how can we ignore bridesmaid boxes and candles? Add some  cute pyjamas and your maids will be fully outfitted for the night before and the morning of the wedding, getting ready in style! What better memento to give your crew to remember your wedding day by.

We asked Rhonda of Bride Tribe five questions in five minutes:

What is the most important piece of advice you can give to engaged couples?

My most important advice to an engaged couple, is to take time out from your wedding planning every now then and just enjoy being together. Arrange a weekend away or even a date night once a week where there is strictly no wedding talk.
Tell us about a hidden talent you have?

My hidden talent is that I am also a nurse! Whilst the industry may be slow at the moment, I am still super busy. I have returned to nursing part time to help out my fellow colleagues deal with the Covid-19 crisis.

As a vendor, what excites you about the wedding day?

One of our very own Bride Tribers recently married. And what excited me most was seeing all the months of planning and inspiration come together on the big day. It was magical.
What are you known for?

Business wise I am known for my excellent communication; I go above and beyond to keep my brides in the loop. Personally, it is my caring and compassionate nature, hence why I am still nursing.

If you could choose a song to play for the rest of your life what would it be?

There are so many songs, and it depends on my mood at the time. But I really love – Pachelbel’s Canon In D.
