Meg & Shaun’s Relaxed Sunshine Coast Engagement

Meg & Shaun

There is a reason that the Sunshine Coast is such a loved part of Australia. Today, Meg and Shaun made the most of the coastal forest backdrop as they joined the ever-lovely (and ever-talented!) Sophie Baker for a relaxed Sunshine Coast engagement session.

If you’re anything like me, you’re going to fall in love with these two and their relaxed joy, Meg’s utter joy, the cozy embraces, the mid-shoot twirls all culminating in a truly special session.

“We met through a mutual friend! ” says Meg, filling us in on the story of how these two met. “We lost touch for about six months and then reconnected through social media… we haven’t been apart since.”

Shaun decided to pop the question in beautiful Maleny, the bride to be remembering “We were in Maleny for our anniversary and Shaun surprised me with a bunch of flowers which had my ring hidden in it! He popped the question on the balcony overlooking the mountains of our Airbnb.”

Of working with photographer Sophie, Meg tells “Sophie is absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! Shaun and I had never done anything like this before and we had a ball doing it.”

On what she loves about Shaun, Meg notes “I love how kind and gentle he is. How passionate he is and how he commits wholeheartedly to anything he puts his mind to.”

And of what Shaun loves about Meg? “I love how generous she is and how she is willing to help anyone and everyone. I love her smile and her quirks and that she accepts me and my flaws.”
