It is the time for all things new and today, we’re all about that sparkling brand new vibe with Australian designed and made wedding label Oarma.

Every piece designed and made by Danika Frahn (whos studied design at Melbourne’s own Swinburne), who draws inspiration from her grandmother’s own styling of honesty and elegance, this brand new label is all about quality fabrics and sustainably sourced materials.

The collection is compiled with both gowns and interchangeable separates. Minimal & modern in styling, gowns like “Linear”, with a shallow round neck and straight silhouette, sit alongside another favourite, “Ella” with her long silk gathered sleeves and floor-length skirt and the beautiful “Celeste” with her scoop neck, shaped straps and straight shape.. Separate wise, the collection includes skirts and pants in classic cuts, able to be paired with the on-brand camis, and chic blouses  Special wonders like the “Sheer Pleated Crop Coat” stunning over any of the gowns as a day to night transformation.

In keeping with the brand’s sustainable values, Danika makes each gown to order. She has partnered with Studio Tinta to ensure any gowns, can be dyed (with natural plant-based dyes) and easily worn as non-wedding pieces long after the day. It works alongside the brand’s investment in the  Carbon Neutral initiative, the sourcing of fabrics from natural and deadstock materials, It seems, that appropriate for Oarma, sustainability and beautiful, timeless design go hand in hand.

Oarma gowns are available to try on at the Oarma studios in Fitzroy and Brunswick or to purchase online. Find out more via the website here.
