Roseanna & Morgan

The warmer weather is nigh, which means the seaside becomes all the more appropriate for engagement sessions. For Roseanna and Morgan, stunning Flinders, with its windy atmosphere, and photographer Hayley Hickman along for the ride, was just the match they needed to tell their story. Tells Roseanna “We first met at Morgan’s brother’s birthday party. Morgan was wearing a T-shirt with Alan from the Hangover on it and I thought it was hilarious.”

Turns out the buzz of the Christmas spirit was just what Morgan needed to pop the question, Roseanne remembers for us “Morgan proposed to me on Christmas Day 2019, in our kitchen as I was wrapping Christmas presents for our fur baby Dozer.”

Roseanna shares “What I love most about Morgan is how caring he is. He can always tell when I’m feeling a bit down or not myself and he always goes out of his way to make me smile. Morgan loves how kind and caring I am and how I always put others before myself.
What we love most about each other is how similar we are. We never get tired of being in one another’s company.”

It hasn’t always been smooth sailing for these two- they’ve had their own share of funny stories! “Morgan was planning our third date and asked what my favourite food was. I told him I love Thai food. Little did I know he hadn’t ever tried it and he hated spicy food. He booked a table anyway and I enjoyed a curry while Morgan ate white rice. I said “wow you’re not eating much” and he said, “I don’t like spice”. I couldn’t stop laughing. He was also trapped in his seat because the person behind him had their chair against his but he’s too polite to say anything. We still laugh about it eight years later.”
