Kerri & Dave

There is something about the feeling of Victoria’s Yarra Valley that always wins me over. The rolling green landscapes, beautiful buildings and the rows and rows of vines always evoke a sense of romance in me. Today’s wedding of Kerri and Dave captured by Woodnote Photography is one such romantic celebration, making the most of their location, marrying right next to wine barrels.

Kerri and Dave met at their local church. Kerri knowing the minute she laid eyes on Dave that she would be marry him. Four years later, they tied the knot!

The groom and groomsmen chose suits from Bossini

Kerri chose a strapless gown from Bridal Revival paired classic pearls from Swarovski and red heels found at Florsheim.

Kerri’s bridesmaids wore cornflower blue gowns also found at Bridal Revival.

Train Trak Winery was chosen for the wedding, Kerri noting, “We got married in the barn at Train Trak. It was actually the wet weather option that turned out better than the original plan. The view was amazing.”

Kerri loved, “Dave seeing me walk down the aisle for the first time!” Kerri chose Holly Maher – Always Be for the processional.

Kerri and Dave were married by Rohan Dredge.

Kerri remembers, “We nearly stepped on a tiger snake during the photos, and there was a double rainbow after the rain that came during our ceremony!”

Reception celebrations continued at Zonzo, Train Trak Winery, Kerri telling, “Our reception was in the restaurant ‘ Zonzo’ on the same property. My expectations were just blown out of the water. Not only did the room look stunning but the food & service was exceptional. The whole day flowed from start to finish perfectly.”

Kerri remembers, “We collected wooden Scrabble tiles and spelled out every guests name for their place setting! The guests were also able to take these home as gifts afterwards.”
