Move over Paris, New York and Venice, Montenegro has stolen our hearts! Montenegro has approximately 290km of unspoilt beaches and around 250 days of sunshine a year. The Adriatic Sea and the historic architecture against the rugged mountains are enough to make us never want to come home. Explore this hidden gem on your honeymoon before the secret gets out!

What to see:
Fortifictions of Kotor
Visit the ancient city of Kotor, the oldest town in Montenegro. Within a natural fiord of the Adriatic Sea you’ll find the Fortifications of Kotor. The fortifications reflect military architecture from Venice, Austria, Illyria and Byzantium, and were used to protect the town. The hike is not easy but the views are worth it! Even if you can’t make it to the top you’ll still have some great opportunities for photos.

Tara Canyon
Nature lovers wont want to miss Montenegro’s Tara Canyon. Tara Canyon is the second deepest canyon in the world, with the USA’s Grand Canyon at number one. Whether you’re both into rafting, hiking or zip lining, there is plenty for you and your partner to do and see at this natural beauty!

Taste some of the amazing food on offer in restaurants, slip into a new outfit you might buy at one of the local stores and watch the sunset over the beautiful landscape.
