Whipping up a luxurious bath soak for your besties is as simple as mixing together three ingredients! This coconut milk bath soak is the perfect way to treat your bridal party or guests. Find some gorgeous jars and bundle the soak with fresh herbs and flowers for a sweet way to spread the love!

Bath soaks can be personalised with sweet smelling essential oils, however this time we’ve left them out. Using organic coconut milk powder as the main ingredient creates a gorgeous soft coconut scent that can be highlighted with fresh flowers and herbs added to the water. That said, if you’d like to use oils, go right ahead!

What You Will Need:

  • 1 cup coconut milk powder (found in health food stores)
  • 3/4 cup bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 cup cornflour
  • Fresh flowers and herbs for packaging (for example, rosemary, lavender, mint etc)
  • Small jars (this product needs to be kept airtight until used)
  • Mixing bowl and spoon
  • Ribbon to decorate
  • Sieve
  • Optional – dried flowers

Step 1. Measure out your ingredients and sift into a bowl. Don’t miss the sifting! If you’re using essential oils, mix the oil into the bicarbonate of soda to begin, before adding other ingredients. Make sure to remove all lumps from each product before combining thoroughly. You can double (or more) the recipe, depending on how many bath soaks you’re wanting to make.

Step 2. Once the bath soak has been well combined, spoon into clean, dry jars. If you fancy, spoon a heap of dried flowers on top of the coconut soak to make it extra lovely! For a tutorial on how to dry your own sweet flowers, click here.

Step 3. When all of your jars are full of coconut milk powder bath soak and topped with beautiful dried flowers, seal them tightly shut and tie with a ribbon. Add a bundle of mixed fresh (or dried) herbs and flowers for a beautiful gift that your guests will love!
