When it came to coming up with wedding-worthy cocktails for The Vintage Issue, The Sidecar ticked all the boxes. First appearing in 1922, this is the kind of drink you think about when you think about the beautiful beaded gowns and nights of dancing in the twenties. It’s completely citrus – blending together fresh lemon juice & content with the orange hit of triple sec.

There are two ways of making this one, and today, we’re all about the French way, which is equal parts Triple Sec, Cognac and lemon juice. We’re thinking it’s a worthy addition to your signature cocktail wedding day menu – summer or spring wedding recommended!
