Need a suit for your wedding day? Meet Oscar Hunt! Oscar Hunt offers bespoke tailoring to the well-dressed groom and groomsmen who are looking for elegance with a superb fit and style. With stores in Melbourne and Sydney and now in Adelaide, the team at Oscar Hunt offers a choice of over 3500 fabrics from the UK and Italy and you are measured for a perfect fit taking into account unique quirks like sloping shoulders, while considering different design options such as lapel width, pockets or buttons. They excel at providing excellent service, and several fittings take place over the course of the suit construction in showrooms that are nothing short of elegant because we all know – the fit of the suit is everything! And older gentlemen – never fear – Oscar Hunt has you covered too which we love, because if there is ever an occasion to get a made to measure suit – it is a wedding!!

We asked Chris from Oscar Hunt five questions in five minutes:

What is the most important piece of advice you can give to engaged couples?

Remain calm and don’t overthink things. I guess this is true in life and in preparing for a wedding. When it comes to couples thinking about an overall look for their wedding, we definitely recommend keeping things simple. It’s best not to go overboard and attempt to make everything match (bridesmaids, groomsmen, the surrounding environment etc), it all becomes too much. As long as the colours used are complementary and the fit and style of the clothing is good, you can’t go wrong.

Tell us about a hidden talent you have?

I’m really good at falling and not hurting myself. Always have been.

As a vendor, what excites you about the wedding day?

It’s a day that people are really excited about as well as wanting to invest time and effort into. When you combine these things then a fitting at Oscar Hunt is a joy as the client is genuinely happy to be dressing up for the day whilst also enjoying the process of having multiple fittings to make sure that the suit is perfect.

What are you known for?

Oscar Hunt is known for the extraordinary service, incredible fit and passion of our team. From the moment that you walk into the door you are made to feel incredibly welcome whilst knowing that we take our task of crafting a beautiful suit very seriously.

If you could choose a song to play for the rest of your life what would it be?

I don’t think there’s a song out there that wouldn’t send you insane after a lifetime of listening to it but if I have to answer this question then I’d say Pony by Ginuwine.

Chelsea & Adam

The Spring Issue is all about celebrating the very prettiest Mother Nature has to offer and for Chelsea & Adam, the Mount Coot-tha Gardens, full of blossom trees and spring beauty turned out to be both a beautiful place to celebrate the warmth, but also each other. They invited Joy Philippe Photography along to share in their joy.

“We met at school” begins Chelsea, when we asked her how the pair came to be. “We were in different grades, the year 9 and 10 classes did a Canberra trip, that’s when we first noticed each other.”

Adam popped the question in beautiful Maleny, Chelsea sharing “Adam took me on a “surprise date” to One Tree Hill Maleny. He had organised for a picnic to be set up before we arrived. I can’t even remember what he said, I was so shocked.”

“I think that we can agree that we love that we are best friends and trust each other, laugh together and share everything” tells the bride to be.
