I am so happy to see Friday this week! We’re going to have a lovely family dinner to celebrate a special occasion and there will be so much food (and delicious wine I purchased this week!) What are you getting up to this weekend?

Here’s some of the news from around the wedding web!

Portobello Bride has launched a brand new site. I am dying for Kim’s first boutique wedding market she’s holding early next year, if it’s anything like Kim’s sense of style it is going to be an event not to miss! Plus if you’re a vendor you can apply to be a part of the market too!

Why I have not mentioned this new site launch until now I’ll never know but the queen of blogs Kathryn at Snippet & Ink launched her brand new site a few weeks ago. I adore Kathryn’s blog so if you haven’t checked it out yet, it really is a must see!

Over 1000 photographers are expected to rally on Sunday, 29th of August in opposition to the photo permit costs that are preventing photographers from taking photographs of landmarks (including Bondi). Led by landscape photographer Ken Duncan, it will take place from 10am at Campbell Cove in Sydney. Find more information on the Arts Freedom Australia website.

Our Princess Cherry Pie competition have been chosen! Amanda has won a wedding day makeup package for herself and her maid of honour, by Princess Cherry Pie herself! While Rowena and Kobe have both won Princess Cherry Pie gift packs. Princess Cherry pie’s brand new range is hitting Australian stores soon and I can’t wait!

If you’re near or in Sydney, do enter our competition to win one of two double passes to the evening gala of The Ultimate Wedding Planning Party. Enter here.
