Soulful, organic, natural, timeless, evocative...

Hi! I’m Carissa, a traveling wedding & elopement photographer. I also shoot intimate women’s & couples portraits  –

Capturing the perfectly imperfect.

Carissa, the owner / photographer of Elk and Fir Photography is located in Central Queensland and awarded ABIA’s QLD Wedding Photographer of 2016!

I am a lover of perfectly imperfect love and a chaser of light and yummy sun-flare. If I see something epic I will stop you in your tracks to get it. I like to sit back and document the real moments, capturing those fleeting moments that might not have even noticed.

I like to keep things relaxed when taking wedding portraits. I find swapping your heels for flats and grabbing an esky of beer and plenty of food keeps everyone happy!

I love to travel so if you have a dream wedding location hit me up ! You just never know what I can offer you!

Love Carissa xx
