Snapshot Sunday – Flower Fall

by

The tossing of the bouquet is one of those traditional aspects of the wedding that I think sometimes is slowly fading out of fashion.

Which is why I love a good shot of it! Look at the action in this shot! Flowers flying, the arms up for the catch and the other guests looking on, their faces full of anticipation.

This one is from the wedding of Jenna and Jared (view more of their wedding here.)

Look at the guys in the background hoping their girlfriends won’t catch it!

Most of my brides aren’t even doing it! I understand the garter thing- but the bouquet toss is fun! All those pretty girls standing there…it’s a picture!

we’re doing the bouquet toss – but I DIY-ed a toss bouquet so that I won’t have to throw my gorgeous one into the clutching crowd! :) I noticed that the bride above didn’t throw her stephanotis bouquet, either, but a substituted instead.

Like the pic. A picture from my wedding is almost identical…. two of my bridesmaids really, really wanting to catch the bouquet and the rest of the single girls standing as far back as possible.

While I am unapologetically one of those people who is glad this tradition is on its way out, I have to admit this is a great shot!
