couples (IMHO) should do cake toppers and special cakes only to make the wedding more personalized about them. i was at a wedding about two weeks ago and the wedding cake had nothing to do with them. sure it was nice and fancy, but it didn’t express who they are at all. it is such an important part of the night that it should not be overlooked. great idea.

that yellow cake is gorgeous. yellow is my favorite color and i had so much trouble wanting a yellow/black/white wedding but decided it didn’t work too well with my venue. oh well.. i can always save it to decorate one of the rooms in my future apartment.
