Earlier today I shared the first part of Elyse and Tim’s wedding. After their cupcake feast, the couple headed to 91, the event space of The Upper Crust. A mini loft space in the West Village of Manhattan.
The couple held their ceremony in one section of the venue (which was later transformed to a lounge area). Elyse walked down the aisle to “Un Homme et Une Femme” also known as the theme from movie When A Man Loves A Woman.
Dan Fehlig of The Upper Crust helped bring the couples vision together. Decorations included crystal chandeliers, amazing floral arrangements (by Gerald Palumbo of Seasons A Floral Design) and tall columns. In lieu of favors, the couple gave each guest truffles in a silver box and a note regarding the donation the couple had made to a charity in honour of Elyse’s father.
The couple took dance lessons with Anne Marie Nespoli of Wedding Day Dance. Tim’s choice of song ” Anyone At All” by Carole King captured the couples relationship perfectly. Elyse took a reluctant Tim to dance lessons and the groom soon found his feet! The couple rehearsed every day, Tim was determined to get the dance perfect!
Only one minor mishap- 10 seconds into their dance the CD player blew up! Luckily it didn’t stop the celebrations!
Thank you Elyse and Tim for allowing Polka Dot Bride to share your beautiful wedding day!
