Earlier today I shared the first part of Geoff and Cait’s Brisbane wedding shot by Jonas Peterson. This afternoon it’s onto the glorious location shots and reception!

Cait carried a bouquet of red roses by Hacienda Flowers & Furnishings.The couple bought many Chinese lanterns and envelopes which they used as place cards, from Chinatown. They were set up by Jody from Hummingbird Weddings & Events.

At the reception, held at Riverlife and catered by Zen Catering. Each guest received a mini bamboo steamer filled with personalised fortune cookies from Fortune Cookies.

    I am getting my wedding shot by Jonas in August…he is an amazing talent, I can’t wait!!

    I love, love, LOVE the shot with the fig trees in the background – so ethereal. Gorgeous!!

    Very nice work indeed – I’m taking some inspiration for my own work. I also love the fig tree shot – it’s glorious. I’m of two minds about the night time shots with the flash either not being used, or being used for a bit of fill – as opposed to stopping the action. I’m becoming increasingly attracted to this style – will have to try it out. Regardless, the pix have a genuine feel to them – which I think is obvious.
