Earlier today I shared the first part of Geoff and Cait’s Brisbane wedding shot by Jonas Peterson. This afternoon it’s onto the glorious location shots and reception!
Cait carried a bouquet of red roses by Hacienda Flowers & Furnishings. The couple bought many Chinese lanterns and envelopes which they used as place cards, from Chinatown. They were set up by Jody from Hummingbird Weddings & Events.
At the reception, held at Riverlife and catered by Zen Catering. Each guest received a mini bamboo steamer filled with personalised fortune cookies from Fortune Cookies.
Thank you to Geoff & Cait for allowing me to share your beautiful wedding day on Polka Dot Bride and thank you to Jonas Peterson for sharing your work with Polka Dot Bride!

Very nice work indeed – I’m taking some inspiration for my own work. I also love the fig tree shot – it’s glorious. I’m of two minds about the night time shots with the flash either not being used, or being used for a bit of fill – as opposed to stopping the action. I’m becoming increasingly attracted to this style – will have to try it out. Regardless, the pix have a genuine feel to them – which I think is obvious.

Nice! Where did you get the bamboo steamers? I’ve been looking everywhere!
