I always get a kick out of seeing the latest designs from Elva Fields. The big, bold necklaces are so full of colour and life and I think they would make such a great addition to a simple wedding gown or are even a way to make a statement with a bridesmaid look.

Designer Emily Wheat Maynard has formed the Fall 2012 collection around “simplicity”. The idea goes back to the thought that a statement necklace can be a simple way to add style to your outfit, while the designs themselves, all crafted to incorporate vintage pieces, are also boldly simple. I love these necklaces and love the idea of them paired with a simple, strapless sleek mermaid gown. Or a full length strapless black ball gown. They really are something you can wear again but add such a bold, unique touch to a wedding day outfit where it’s usual to keep accessories dainty and neutrally toned.

The designs are separated into three groups, Elva (necklaces that incorporate both new and vintage elements), Deb (eco-friendly necklaces made of entirely vintage components) and June (earrings) and all are able to be shipped to Australia.
