Tuesday Type – Affair

Affair is a script design that started in a library in New York while the designer was on his honeymoon. Seduced by the font in an obscure book he found on the shelves, he set about expanding it to include the ornate and swirly font you see above. If fonts bring you joy, then this would be on par with homemade caramel fudge, icecream on a hot summer’s day or a cuddling in front of the fire with your partner. As the designer says, “I hope this Affair can bring you as much peace and satisfaction as it brought me, and I hope it can help your imagination soar like mine did when I was doing my duty for beauty”.
