It’s going to be a little fashion heavy round these parts for the next few weeks. I have a bucket load of amazing designer collections to share with you as they’re unveiled for the new season and I want to dedicate a post to each – all so different and incredible in their own way.
Today’s post is on one collection I have been waiting for what seems like a long time! Last night the incredible Anna Campbell debuted her 2013 Made To Measure collection entitled “Gossamer”.
Anna Campbell constantly amazes me when I look at her first collection and how she has evolved into bridal wear that is sought after and worn by many a Polka Dot Bride. Inspired by French Romance, the “Gossamer” collection is more fitted to the bride’s figure than previous collections of Anna’s and is designed to create glamorous and graceful silhouette for brides looking for something a little more custom than the off the rack collection.
What took my breath away, was Anna’s beautiful use of glittering shoulder detailing. Anna’s become somewhat famous for the beautiful necklines and backs of her gowns and this collection takes it to another level with the sparkling crystals and beading.
There are also two new design debuts by Anna for “Gossamer”. A new colour – the vintage feeling “bone” which took almost a year to source and adds a sense of vintage elegance to the collection and the gorgeous button detailing running from the small of the back to the knee.
