After her gorgeous Deux Belettes Wedding to (now) husband Jono, Bride Briana has provided some of her top advice for all brides-to-be – fantastic wisdom for anyone planning their own wedding or working with a tight budget!

Briana suggests “If you are planning a wedding yourself make sure you have somebody on the day (either a friend who you trust to be organised and make good decisions quickly, or a co-ordinator) to take care of the running of whole wedding. It avoids any added stress and helps you to stick to your budget by ensuring everything runs smoothly. If things run behind time you have to pay extra for staff (caterers/bar tenders/musician/bus hire) as it takes them much longer to do their job, and most venues have a closing time-you don’t want to be serving dessert as the band is packing up and the doors are being locked! Plus it allows you to enjoy your wedding in a way you imagined without stressing over the details and decision-making on the day.

“Stick to your budget! It’s so easy to get caught up in everything and just throw money at things (especially at the last minute) because you HAVE to have it! At the end of the day nobody at the wedding has any expectations about what it should look like, you don’t need expensive things to create a beautiful atmosphere, and you are going have the best day of you life regardless!”
