It has been one heck of a ride for Australian designer Anna Campbell. I still remember pouring over her gorgeous gowns back in 2009 and have been smitten ever since.
Just a few weeks ago, the talented designer held her first runway show at New York bridal market and celebrated the worldwide release of the popular Gossamer collection. Models glided down the runway wearing designs from The Gossamer range and the earlier 2015 collection “Spirit”.
The heavily embellished gowns, a signature of Anna’s, are paired with gauzy lace skirts, fine silks, sweeping trains and knotted waistbands. I think that’s part of what brides have come to love about Anna, she combines sparkle and femininity into a gown that doesn’t look overdone, in fact if anything it looks relaxed and effortless.
