button-pins

I think this might be my most simple, yet cute, craft post to date! Button thumb tacks! Why didn’t I think of it before?!

And as always, imagine the colour possibilities! Natural wood buttons, shiny gold buttons, a mix of eclectic vintage buttons…… So grab your glue gun and put your bridesmaids to work!

It’s so easy I almost feel silly writing a whole tutorial about it, but here goes!

What you need:

– Thumb tacks/drawing pins.

– Hot glue gun. You could probably use super glue if you don’t have a glue gun.

– Cute buttons with flat backs. I got mine at Spotlight.

– Cork board and piece of paper for glueing on.

Lay the paper on the cork board. Press the pins gently into the cork. Top each pin with a dab of glue and then top this with a button. Press gently to secure. Allow to dry and harden. So easy!
